Trust Officer

Merchants Bank, Northfield, has an opening for a Trust Officer.

The primary role of this position will be to serve existing trust and wealth management clients while also developing relationships with internal and external referral sources to obtain referral opportunities.  The ideal candidate will ensure retention of existing clients by maintaining relationships, delivering excellent customer experiences, and addressing client needs on a regular and recurring basis.  Will also have the desire, aptitude, skill and ability to expand the department’s client base by developing relationships and demonstrating expertise to establish trust and credibility with internal and external referral sources and prospects.  Must have investment management expertise and have significant familiarity with serving fiduciary based accounts.  BS/BA degree required.  Minimum of 10 years direct customer contact experience in relevant financial or legal services industry required.
