Digital/Print Production Editor
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch/stltoday.com is looking for a digital and print producer with good news judgment, strong editing skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
As a digital producer, you will handle a range of duties, including social media posts, SEO headline writing and some light photo and video editing. You will also help edit stories on tight deadlines, and you will help with writing quick-hit articles, video scripts and social media posts, among other duties. We also want someone with the ability to anticipate which stories will best engage readers across the breadth of our coverage - sports, entertainment, lifestyle and news.
The position includes duties related to our print edition, such as editing late-breaking stories, reviewing pages and communicating with page designers. Bottom line: This is a chance to showcase and develop a mix of editing, writing and news judgment that are essential to our range of products. Teamwork is a key component of the job, as you help us build our audience and engage a growing number of readers.
